Billing Terms and Conditions

By enrolling as a member of Kinetic Newport Center at 600 Newport Center Drive. I am agreeing to monthly dues to be charged to the payment card information I will provide during the enrollment process. I also agree to notify Kinetic Newport Center of any change to my employment or residential status that may change my eligibility for any membership discounts obtained during original enrollment. By signing below, I agree to authorize Kinetic Newport Center to process a monthly payment via the payment card information I will provide, and post it to my account. Upon enrollment, I understand the account of the card number I have on file will be charged a one time, one dollar ($1) transaction fee. Change of payment method will not affect other provisions and terms of my contract. I also acknowledge that I have a Three (3) day “Cooling Off” period which entitles me to cancel my membership within 3 days of enrollment and receive a full refund within Ten (10) days of cancellation without being subject to any fees collected during the enrollment process.

 

Cancellation Policy

Your membership at Kinetic Newport Center is based on a month-to-month term. You will remain an active member until a cancellation request form is received by Kinetic Newport Center management stating that you wish to terminate your membership in person at 600 Newport Center Drive at the Kinetic Newport Center service desk or via email at [email protected]. Please note thirty (30) day advance notification is required: Cancellation will be processed 30 calendar days after Kinetic Newport Center is notified of your wish to cancel membership. In the event that the next billing date should fall within the 30-day period between the received notice and scheduled cancellation date, the membership amount will be assessed and you are allowed access to the club for that full billing cycle.

 

Temporary Hold Status

You may request at any period prior to your next billing date to hold your membership for up to three (3) calendar months per calendar year. To hold your membership, visit the member service desk at Kinetic Newport Center or email Kinetic Newport Center at [email protected]. A hold fee of $15 per month will be assessed for all hold requests at the time of your request.

 

Guest Policy

Upon their initial visit to Kinetic Newport, guests will be required to show a valid ID and complete a guest enrollment form including a liability waiver. A guest fee will be charged to a valid credit or debit card prior to use of the facility. Kinetic Newport reserves the right to change guest fees and policies at their discretion. Guests shall be required to acknowledge and agree to all Policies & Procedures of Kinetic Newport.

 

Locker Rentals

There are day-use lockers available in the locker rooms. Only one (1) locker may be used per guest. Day use lockers allow you to temporarily store your belongings during your workout. Kinetic Newport Center are not liable for the disappearance, loss or theft of, or damage to, personal property including but not limited to, money, negotiable securities, or jewelry. Contents left in day-use lockers will be emptied at the end of each day. For locker rental information, please contact a Kinetic Newport Center team member.

 

Private Property

All toiletries, towels, amenities and equipment that you use are the property of Kinetic Newport Center. If items checked out in your name for use during your training session are not returned in a condition consistent with delivery to you, your account will be charged the full retail value of such items. Taking towels or toiletries from the fitness center will result in cancellation of your membership. Valuable items should not be left unattended. Kinetic Newport Center is not responsible for misplaced or stolen items.

 

Food and Beverage

Food purchased outside of Kinetic Newport Center is not permitted anywhere within the fitness center or its facilities. Beverages are permitted and may be carried in covered plastic containers. No glass containers are permitted within the fitness center.

 

General Etiquette

Each member is responsible for wiping clean each piece of equipment following their use as a courtesy to other members. Anti-bacterial wipes will be provided throughout the facility for this purpose. Towels are provided and should be placed in the receptacles in the fitness center and locker rooms. To place or receive telecommunications including voice and/or video calls, please step outside of the fitness center. Free weights are only permitted in the designated free weight areas. As a courtesy to other members, free weights are only to be dropped in designated areas on top of safety mats. Free weights and plates must be returned to their proper racks upon completion of exercise. Shirts are required at all times. Proper athletic footwear must be worn in all club areas. When using cardiovascular equipment, please limit use to thirty (30) minutes when others are waiting. Please refrain from the use of profanity, loud noises, horseplay and any other inappropriate behavior. Gym bags are not permitted in the fitness center. Lockers are provided for your convenience. When using strength-training equipment for multiple sets, please allow others to “work in.” We have a strict zero tolerance on physical or verbal altercations of any kind, an altercation may result in immediate membership termination.

 

General Rules

At no time shall any equipment be removed from the fitness center. The fitness equipment should be used in accordance to the manner specified by the manufacturer’s operating instructions or as indicated on the equipment. Members shall not move or modify equipment in any manner whatsoever. Do not operate any malfunctioning or broken equipment. If you believe that a piece of equipment might not be functioning properly, please notify the nearest Kinetic Newport Center team member immediately. Persons between the age of thirteen (13) and seventeen (17) must be accompanied by an adult member at all times while using the facility. Children under the age of twelve (12) are not allowed. Personal Training conducted by non-Kinetic Newport Center trainers is not permitted. Kinetic Newport Center reserves the right to add, delete or change its Member Policies at any time without prior notice in order to maintain the safe operation of the fitness center.

 

Parking Validation

As an enrolled member of Kinetic Newport Center, you will be validated for three (3) hours of parking at 600 Newport Center Drive each time you visit Kinetic Newport Center. You will be responsible for any parking fees charged by the on-site parking operator over and above the 3 hour validation. You may be asked to provide identification in order to confirm your membership. Kinetic reserves the right to adjust and/or change parking validation policies and refuse validation at its sole discretion.

 

FAILURE TO ADHERE TO ALL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES DESCRIBED ABOVE MAY RESULT IN TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP
